RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual whose body was discovered on Thursday, March 13, 2026.
The incident took place in the 3800 block of Abingdon Road. The victim has been identified as Joel G. Taylor, 59, of Columbia, South Carolina.
“We will continue working with the Columbia-Richland Fire Department to fully investigate this fire.” Coroner Rutherford states.
