Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford is releasing the name of the victim of a single vehicle collision that occurred on Alpine Road on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim is identified as Matthew R. Putnam, 17, of Columbia, SC.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with this family over their devastating loss. We will continue working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this collision.” Coroner Rutherford states.
