Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford is releasing the name of the body that was discovered at the Alvin S. Glenn detention center in Columbia, SC on Monday, July 22, 2024.
According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim is identified as Marty J. Brown, 25, of Columbia, SC.
“We will continue working with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department to fully investigate this incident”, Coroner Rutherford states.
