RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual whose body was discovered after a shooting on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
The incident took place in the 900 block of Colleton Street. The victim has been identified as Perry B. Buchanan, 65, of Columbia, South Carolina.
“We will continue working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this shooting.” Coroner Rutherford states.
