Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford is releasing the name of the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the 800 block of Congaree Church Road on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim is identified as Matthew A. Flemming, 67, of Columbia, SC.
“We will continue working with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department to fully investigate this homicide.” Coroner Rutherford states.
