CONNECTING OUR NEIGHBORS to NETWORKS and EMBRACING them with COMPASSION supported by TEAMWORK
The C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Team consists of compassionate employees, interns, and volunteers. The Team is available to provide resources, support, and follow-up when families receive notification of a death by our office.
What does the C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Team do?
C- Connect families to resources that will be helpful during their time of loss.
O- Outreach through workshops, community programs and referrals to requested support services.
N- Network with community leaders, liaisons, and members.
N- Navigate various resources to be inclusive of community needs.
E- Establish relationships with a variety of community resources to meet the diverse needs of Richland County.
C- Choose compassionate approaches to support families and communities during their time of need.
T- Time our response to coincide with the expressed needs of families.
The C.O.N.N.E.C.T Team office is located at 6300 Shakespeare Road Columbia, South Carolina. The Team is available by calling (803) 576-1790 or 576-1799 for additional information and/or information about becoming a volunteer.
