RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual who died as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The collision took place on U.S. 76 Dutch Fork Road near Chapin. The victim has been identified as Kelly M. Johnson, 35, of Columbia, South Carolina.
“We will continue working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this collision,” Coroner Rutherford states.
The case remains under active investigation. Further details will be released as they become available.
