Overview: Assigned the duty of Public Information Officer? This two-day (16 hour) practical and lecture course provides the P.I.O. with an overview of the role. Topics include tools used by P.I.O. to share the news with the public and media, strategies on sharing information with the media and the public. This course includes practical scenarios designed to enhance the role of the P.I.O. (Practical applications are videoed and constructively critiqued).
