Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford is releasing the name of the man that was killed in a shooting at Garner’s Crossing Apartments on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim is identified as Jose Osascio-Torres, 33, of Columbia, SC.
“We will continue working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this shooting”, Coroner Rutherford states.
