RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual who died as a result of a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
The incident took place in the 1100 block of Hampton Street. The victim has been identified as Matthew A. Konwinski II, 31, of Lexington, South Carolina.
“We will continue working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this shooting,” Coroner Rutherford states.
