RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual who died as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Monday, May 11, 2026.
The incident took place on Harmon Road near Kirkbrook Lane. The victim has been identified as Jonathan S. Garcia, 23, of Hopkins, South Carolina.
“We will continue working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this tragic accident,” Coroner Rutherford states.
The case remains under active investigation. Further details will be released as they become available.
