RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual whose body was discovered in a Columbia neighborhood on Monday, April 13, 2026.
The body was found near the 2700 block of Howell Court near Farrow Road in Richland County. The victim has been identified as Ciarra Howcott, 31, of Hopkins, SC.
“We will continue working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this death.” Coroner Rutherford states.
The case remains under active investigation. Further details will be released as they become available.
