The Richland County Coroner’s Office is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with the 2026 Coroner Cadet Summer Program. This program, presented by Coroner Naida Rutherford, offers high school students an opportunity to learn about the field of forensic science and coroner operations.
The criteria for volunteers are
1. Must be a current enrolled college student
2. Must be willing to submit to a background check
3. Must be available during the dates of
Cadet Camp 2026
