Coroner Identifies Victim in Fatal Collision
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual who died as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
The collision took place on Two Notch Road near Decker Boulevard. The victim has been identified as Carolyn V. Collins, 64, of Columbia, South Carolina.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We will continue working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this collision,” Coroner Rutherford states.
The case remains under active investigation. Further details will be released as they become available.
